bacon in the oven

prep time: 5 minutes
cook time: 10-20 minutes
total time: 15-25 minutes

ingredients
1 package of bacon

directions

1. preheat oven to 400 degrees F. line a baking tray with parchment paper, then place the bacon side-by-side on the tray.
2. cook the bacon for 10-20 minutes or until it’s reached your desired level of crispiness. make sure to check on it after about 10 minutes, as some ovens cook faster.
3. remove the tray from the oven and transfer the bacon with tongs to a paper towel-lined plate.

i love bacon. who doesn’t? (if you don’t, you may not have a pulse !) i have been making it wrong all this time… on the stove which is messy and splashy and seems like walking through a minefield with the oil splashing all over the place. making it in the oven is where it’s at. it’s so much cleaner and easier ! i will be making bacon in the oven from now on until forever !
