hello homemade, goodbye store packaged. i was literally almost out the door on my way to the grocery store to buy taco seasoning for taco night tonight (my husband was thrilled to hear that piece of news =), but then i quickly googled a good and very easy taco seasoning recipe. what was even better, i had all the ingredients already ! all i needed to pick up was a tomato and soft tortillas.

the taco seasoning ended up being pretty tasty… a little on the spicy side… spicier than i was expecting. we used all the typical toppings too for our tacos (would you look at that alliteration !): lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, salsa, and sour cream.

and since there’s extra meat and condiments, it’ll make even better leftovers for lunch !

i’m noticing a trend where i’m always saying that these are quick and easy recipes, which is very true for most of them. there are some recipes where i have made them several times after i’ve posted them. that’s how great they really are and i’m so glad that i can reference them with a click of a button. cooking really hasn’t been any easier that now !
